Tales For Posterity

There once was a president who self-combusted. It happened during a live interview with his favorite TV host on his favorite network. After what seemed to be a free association exercise on the president’s part the TV host saw smoke coming from his seat but ignored it out of misplaced politeness. In a matter of seconds the president was engulfed in flames and the sprinkler system in the studio went off but by then it was too late. Whether it was his pants catching fire or an internal gas buildup is still unknown.
