My Unfortunate Manners

“I don’t want to discuss this with you!” I say and push past her to leave the kitchen.

But that is because I am a nice person and all too shocked by her off-hand comment about me not doing enough.

What I mean to say is:

“Despite what you think you cannot guilt or shame people into caring for you. Thankfully, it doesn’t work that way. And rather than you passing judgment on me for something you know nothing about, but base on your own worries and fears you should take some time to contemplate how you can begin to mop up the vile gossip and vitriol you spread!”

That is what I should say, but cannot.
