“I feel like I’m doing everything right, but it still isn’t working” I say.

“Well, maybe you are trying too hard?” She says, and I want to punch her in the face. I didn’t open up to get a lesson. I don’t need a quick fix. All I want is some credit for trying.Why can’t she just do that?

“Take a deep breath and let your anger go.” She says and I’m ready to kill her.

But I do as she says, and for the first time ever I tie my shoelaces in perfect knots.
